SCOPE OF MASONRY WORK

The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment required for the complete execution of all masonry work specified herein, as described in the scope of work.


  • Mortar is prepared by mixing of dry sand and then this dry mix is put in the tray mixing it with water.
  • Bricks should be wet before laying them, so they don’t absorb water from mortar, and obtaining a good adherence mortar-brick.
  • Using a palette or brick layer’s trowel mortar is placed over bricks in a way mortar penetrate bricks holes.
  • Over mortar bed are placed the bricks and each layer of brick, should be checked vertically using a lead weight.
  • Hence the masonry work is followed based on the type of construction works.

SCOPE OF ELECTRICAL WORK

The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment required for the complete execution of all electrical work specified herein, as described in the scope of work.


  • Undertake a site visit and determine the consumer load requirements
  • Calculate the maximum load demand and submit the plans, drawings and specifications.
  • Distribution of Electricity from main distribution board to the separate electrical boards is done
  • Wiring system is completed after which Testing Wiring is done
  • Provide and install all electrical fixtures required to complete the work in the Scope and as specified herein.

SCOPE OF PLUMBING WORK

The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and site supervision to complete the plumbing installations specified herein, as described in the scope of work.


  • Mark pipe lines on walls as shown on the working drawing.
  • Chase the walls to required depth using a chasing machine.
  • Assemble piping starting from branch left in shaft and install in the wall chase with clamps.
  • Test should be witnessed and approved by authorized personnel.
  • Provide and install all plumbing pipes and fixtures required to complete the work in the Scope and as specified herein.

SCOPE OF CARPENTRY WORK

The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and site supervision to complete the carpentry installations specified herein, as described in the scope of work.


  • Initially the marking is done then after planning again the marking is done.
  • After marking Cutting should be started from the tip of the saw and followed by the entire length of the saw.
  • This operation is performed on the wood to smooth the surface of the wood. Initially a jack plane is applied followed by trying plane for smoothing and finishing.
  • Mortise is in the form of a cavity and the tenon the projection on the other part is made and both of them are fitted to form the mortise and tenon joint.
  • Boring is done as first the center of the hole is located and then the hole is drilled by the bits for desired size and depth.
  • To connect together the different parts of wood in a proper manner is known as joining. The joining is done and is fitted in the frames of doors and windows and is screwed up.

SCOPE OF PAINTING WORK

The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment required for the complete execution of all painting work specified herein, as described in the scope of work.


  • Clean down and remove oil, grease including, dirt and corrosion products
  • Fill cracks and holes with fillers or grouting cements. Then surface cured and dried.
  • Remove any rust and apply primer.
  • Apply paint with an undercoat plus two coats of selected finish color semi-gloss paint.
  • Ensure each coat of paint is uniform in color, gloss, thickness and texture and free of blisters, or other discontinuities.

SCOPE OF INTERIOR WORK
